Sprayed Polyurethane Foam
Closed cell Sprayed Polyurethane Foam (ccSPF) is comprised of two liquid components: Part A, the isocyanate, and Part B, the resin. These two components are heated, pressurized and delivered through heated hoses to a specialized spray gun that mixes the components in a one to one ratio. When spray applied, this mixture will adhere to almost any surface and immediately expands to between 20 and 30 times its original thickness filling all openings forming a seamless, air tight, moisture proof, high R-value barrier.

Roofing
ccSPF roofing foam a dense 2.5 pounds per cubic foot foam. A ccSPF roof is superior to other roofing materials in almost every way. Because the foam is light weight, durable and will adhere to almost any surface, a foam roof can usually be installed without tearing off the existing roof. A one inch layer of foam will provide R-6.5 in insulation value and coupled with the reflective white acrylic coating, the energy savings will often pay for the new roof in just a few years. Regular maintenance and a new acrylic coating every 10 to 15 years may allow a ccSPF roof to last in excess of 50 years. With initial costs as low as $2.50 per square foot and the long life span, the life cycle costs of ccSPF are lower than any other type of roofing.

Wall Foam Insulation
Two pound ccSPF is a superior insulation material for residential and commercial buildings. At R-6.5 it has double the R-value of any other type of standard insulation material. The expanding nature of the foam during application closes gaps and other areas of air infiltration found with other insulation materials. These areas of air infiltration can lead to a 40% loss in insulation capability. ccSPF has a very low permeability rating and prevents moisture and thus mold from forming in attics and walls.
